Privacy Policy
This site is a reference tool. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no comments and no checkout — so the amount of personal data involved is very small. This policy says exactly what is collected, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated: November 2026.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which pages and tools are used (for example, page views and whether the table finder was used), so we can fix what confuses people and build what is missing. Analytics data is aggregated; we do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Server logs. Like every website, our host keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. These are retained briefly and are not used for marketing.
- Email. If you write to hello@zscoretables.com, we keep your message and address to reply and to track the correction or request you raised. We do not add you to a mailing list — this site does not have one.
Cookies
The site works fully without cookies. If analytics cookies are in use by our analytics provider, they are first-party measurement cookies only — never advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser settings can block or clear cookies at any time without affecting any tool on this site: the tables, finder and calculators run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere when you use them.
What the tools do with your numbers
Nothing leaves your device. When you type a z score into the finder or a statistic into the p-value tool, the calculation happens in JavaScript on your own machine. Your inputs are not transmitted, stored or logged by us.
Third parties and external links
Pages on this site link to reference sources (university and textbook sites). Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern anything that happens after you follow a link. Downloads hosted here are served directly; we do not route them through third-party file hosts.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because the data we hold is minimal — essentially analytics aggregates and any email you sent us — the practical route is simple: email hello@zscoretables.com with your request and we will action it and confirm. If this policy changes in a way that matters, the change will be noted here with a new date at the top.
